Jailbreak + Cracked Apps on iPhone OS 3.0

Only 2 days after the official release of the iPhone OS 3.0, the Dev Team has released a solution to jailbreak. Their software is called PwnageTool, you may already have heard of it 😉 Then few days later, they released a second tool called RedSn0w which is in fact the successor of QuickPwn, probably they changed the name because of all the scams around QuickPwn, like QuickPwn.com & co.

Be aware that if you need a software unlock, it is not available yet, but should be anytime soon via Cydia. It’s called Ultrasn0w and will be available via APT, and therefore Cydia or Icy. We recommend you use Cydia.

After the jailbreak, you can install third party apps from Cydia, or you can get cracked apps!

Patched “installd” file will allow you to install cracked .ipa apps and games on iPhone OS 3.0 via iTunes.

Instructions:
1. Download the file and extract it
2. Copy “installd” file to /usr/libexec/
3. Set permissions to 0777 using WinSCP or iPhone Tunnel
4. Reboot iPhone
5. Sync and Enjoy
