Last friday, I bought the new macbook pro late 2008, and I am very happy with it. It is solid as a rock ! But hey, look what happened to my old macbook late 2006…
The upper case of my white macbook started to crack after 1.5 years of loyal services. Wtf, Steve can you fix that ? GRRR… My macbook looks worst than a DELL right now…
Its was 8 years ago when the boys said wassup (whazaaaa) to each other. Even with the effects of a down economy and imminent change in the White House, the boys are still able to come together and stay true to what really matters !

David Eliott has just released a new version of his modified boot-132 bootloader !
This new bootloader can load kexts files and boot Leopard Retail DVD! And it is free! Plus open source!
This is definitively an open-source alternative to EFI-X! You will need to burn a CD.
Just burn this ISO to CD : download ISO Insert CD in your drive and boot your PC from CD You should see a Darwin prompt Swap the CD with Leopard Original Retail DVD Hit Enter or type “-v” then Enter (verbose mode)
Leopard should install on your PC with no modifications to the Original DVD!
We got more news from the CEO and leading engineer of the EFiX R&D Team. The following mail was sent to us from Mr Wilhelm von Vnukov :
“It is already released, limited time and our devotion to the production itself caused that web isn’t updated in the right way. On 23 of June, a server hardware malfunction caused troubles, so we were not able to update the page on the right way.
Next week will have EFiX V2 (100 Pics of Limited Edition) available. Mass production version V1 will start shipping about 3-4 weeks later. Both versions cost 80 Euro right now.”
We want to be the first to test their solution and write a full report on the product. We have a fund open to acquire this wonderful piece of software. It’s up to you guys.
Help us acquire and test the product before it is released to the public :
The goal to reach is only 80 EUR. Thanks for you help.
